Mattie Evelyn was born on December 18th, 1915 in Fairpoint, South Dakota. Mattie Evelyn's father was Irvin Martin Boyer and her mother was Annie Evelyn Jeffers. Her paternal grandparents were William Henry Boyer and Florence Virginia Dinges. She had four brothers and seven sisters, named Lester Jeffers, Chester Martin, Robert Isaac, William Howard, Ethel Pearl, Florence Katherine, Gladys Faye, Vera Fern, Hazel Louise, Blanche May and Dorothy Lynette. She was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 43 on September 9th, 1959 in Rio Dell, California.General Notes
