Andreas H. (Andrew) was born on October 18th, 1873 in Minnesota. Andreas H. (Andrew)'s father was Hans Evenson Bjerke and his mother was Martha Amundsdatter Stenehjem. His paternal grandparents were Even Olson Bjerke and Martha Johnson; his maternal grandparents were Amund Asbjornson Stenehjem and Kari Olsdotter Qualey. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Andreas H., Edward H., Oscar H., Hjalmer H., Karen Maria, Emma Josephine, Hannah Matilde, Selma Oline and Ella Bergine. He was the third oldest of the ten children. He died after 1914.-
