‌Paul, Sr. and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on September 12th, 1777 in Pittsylvania, Virginia.¹   They had eight sons and three daughters, named Abraham, William, John, Harmon, Jacob, Adam, George, Paul, Jr., Catherine, Mary Agness and Rebecca Lee.
