Elsie Vera Younger 
Elsie Vera was born on March 14th, 1893 in Texas.1 Elsie Vera's father was Josiah Cy Younger and her mother was America Carolina Wilkes. Her maternal grandparents were Andrew Jackson Wilkes and Mary Ann (Polly) Basham. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Oscar Taylor, William Azelle, Clyde Wilks, Virginia Dare, Mattie Lorrin, Cecel Estelle, Thelma Rema and Nora Pearl. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 66 on June 23rd, 1959.1 General Notes
