Watson Young

Watson was born in September 1887 in Kentucky.¹ Watson's father was Hiram Young and his mother was Dorcus Ritchie. His maternal grandparents are Samuel Ritchie and Chole Hall. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Nathaniel, Richard, Monroe, Jasper, Arlie, Samuel, Chloe, Nancy, Naomi, Mary and Martha. He is the sixth oldest of the twelve children.
