Sarah Bell was born on January 21st, 1889 in Alabama.1 Sarah Bell's father was William Baker Winter and her mother was Amanda Leuella Long. Her paternal grandparents were David Winter and Sarah Ophelia Watson; her maternal grandparents were William T. Long and Louvina Winn. She had three brothers and five sisters, named William Charlie, Bascom Loyd, Oliver, Alabama, Austin, Ellie May, Allie W. and Durward.
