William, Jr. was born about 1784 in Probably Nash County N C.1 William, Jr.'s father was William Williams and his mother was Lucreasy Braswell. His maternal grandparents were William Braswell and Martha Unknown. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Mary, Samuel, Gilbert, Elizabeth, Cloe, Priscilla, Milly, Lucretia and Nancy. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died about June 1850 in Dekalb Co., Tennessee.1 General Notes
