Edmund Whitt 
Edmund was born in 1774 in Virginia.1 Edmund's father was Richard Whitt and his mother was Susannah Skaggs. His maternal grandparents were James Skaggs and Rachel Unknown. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Abijah, Hezekiah, Archibald, Robert, Richard, Rachel, Elizabeth, Ruth and Sussanah. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 76 in 1850 in Carter Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
