Her paternal grandfather was Jeremiah Warren and her paternal grandmother is Mary Martin; her maternal grandparents were Stephen Skaggs and Elizabeth Elkin. She had a brother and a sister, named George E. and Mary A.. She was the oldest of the three children. She died at the age of 80 on October 6th, 1935 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.
