John Thomas was born on July 3rd, 1887 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 John Thomas' father was Wesley Warren and his mother is Louisa Elkin. His paternal grandparents were Hugh Warren and Mary Elizabeth Hilbern. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James Robert, Archie Wesley, Leslie Wesley, Matthew, Lewis Elliot, Burnetta A., Cordelia M. and Vernie Fannie Lovely Maud. He was the third youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 82 on November 16th, 1969 in Hardin Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church, Mt.
