Abel Gordon was born on April 2nd, 1857 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Abel Gordon's father was Alfred Warren and his mother was Melvina K. Elkins. His paternal grandfather was William Warren and his paternal grandmother is Mary Ann Boen. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Garrett, Hugh, Hezekiah, Hodgin, Hugh, Elizabeth, Didama, Johnnie Mary, Emma Susan and Alice. He had a half-brother named Uriah. He died at the age of 77 on February 14th, 1935 in Hughes Co., Oklahoma. He was buried in Huffman Cemetery, Huffman, Okmulgee Co., Oklahoma.1 1 General Notes
