Acie Franklin was born on January 8th, 1889 in Austin, Texas.1 Acie Franklin's father was William Moses Walters and his mother was Lucy Carolina Harkey. His paternal grandparents are James Moses Walters and Unknown Mize; his maternal grandparents are John Harkey and Bertha Unknown. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Jesse Andrew, William Hogan, Barney Allen, James, Robert Allen, Eddie Mae, Mary Katherine, Lizzie Ethel, Delsey Juanita and Sarah. ys that his father was bo rn in Alabama and his mother in Missouri. Bir

They had a son and a daughter, named James William and Lillian Lucille.
