William C. Underwood 
William C. was born on December 26th, 1810 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 William C.'s father was Hiram Underwood and his mother was Celia Buley. His paternal grandfather was James Underwood and his paternal grandmother is Keziah Unknown. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named William A., Thomas E., Calloway, Anderson, Mason, Lafayette, Green Berry, Hiram,Jr., Nancy Jennie, Virginia Jane, Celia and Mary Jane. He was the oldest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 70 on September 18th, 1881 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.
