Sarah Ada was born on January 7th, 1879 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 Sarah Ada's father was Eli Underwood and her mother was Melvina Linville. Her paternal grandparents were Green Berry Underwood and Mary Rachel Sprowls; her maternal grandparents are Preston Linville and Mary Salsman. She had twelve brothers and two sisters, named Barney, Morgan D., Virgil, Everett, Elmer W., Arthur, Oscar, Gerald, Barney, Richard, Edgar, Maude, Mary Elizabeth and Ida. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named James Arthur, Oscar, Eli Richard, Gerald Martin, Edgar, Martha Ann and Maude. She died at the age of 91 in 1970.1 General Notes
