Ova C. Underwood

Ova C. was born on December 12th, 1885 in Kentucky.¹ Ova C.'s father was Hiram Jackson Underwood and her mother was Lucretia A. Howell. Her paternal grandparents were Green Berry Underwood and Mary Rachel Sprowls. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Alfred Brofford, Lee E., Lulu H., Annie Green, Hattie Ethel and Mattie H.. She was the oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 59 in 1944 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.¹
