Lydia Underwood

Lydia was born on June 4th, 1859 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.¹ Lydia's father was Lafayette Underwood and her mother is Ellenoar Scott. Her paternal grandparents were Hiram Underwood and Celia Buley. She had four brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Rousseau, Thomas, Mary Jane, Celia, Nancy A. and Sallie. She is the fourth youngest of the nine children.
