Hiram Underwood 
Hiram was born in 1843 in Cass Co. Illinois.1 Hiram's father was Mason Underwood and his mother is Chelnissa Scott. His paternal grandparents were Hiram Underwood and Celia Buley. He had a brother and three sisters, named William K., Mary Jane, Matida and Ida. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 21 on August 11th, 1864 in Atlanta, Georgia.1 General Notes
