Hazel Underwood 
Hazel was born on February 19th, 1911 in Bell Co., Texas.1 Hazel's father was Perry Monroe Underwood and her mother was LeaNora Gregory. Her paternal grandparents were Lewis J. Underwood and Mary Jane Warren; her maternal grandparents were William Henry Gregory and Amanda Texana Graham. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Charles Walter, Thomas R., Frankie, Cecil Floyd, Arthur James, Ermine, Lois, Rosa Lee, Ruby and Aileen. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 85 on September 4th, 1996 in Temple , Bell Co., Texas. She was buried in Val Verde Baptist Church Cementry.1 1 General Notes
