George Durrett Underwood 
George Durrett was born in 1848 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.1 George Durrett's father was Thomas E. Underwood and his mother was Elizabeth Ann Druin. His paternal grandparents were Hiram Underwood and Celia Buley. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named William Thomas, Rev., John, Andrew Jackson, Samuel Druin, James D., Benjamin Owens, Frances, Ellen, Catherine Ann, Clarissa, Jane, Mary E. and Sarah M.. He was the fifth youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 64 in 1912.1 General Notes
