Ellen Underwood

Ellen was born on November 25th, 1882 in Kentucky.¹ Ellen's father was Samuel Druin Underwood and her mother is Nancy Elizabeth Thompson. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas E. Underwood and Elizabeth Ann Druin. She had five brothers and seven sisters, named James Edward, Malcolm L., William Druin, Freddie, Herbert, Evalina, Mary E., Lucy J., Margaret A., Sallie M., Effie and Clara M.. She is the fifth youngest of the thirteen children.
