Alfred Brofford was born on May 30th, 1887.1 Alfred Brofford's father was Hiram Jackson Underwood and his mother was Lucretia A. Howell. His paternal grandparents were Green Berry Underwood and Mary Rachel Sprowls. He had a brother and five sisters, named Lee E., Ova C., Lulu H., Annie Green, Hattie Ethel and Mattie H.. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 68 on April 6th, 1956 in LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
