Samantha Ann Tutor 
Samantha Ann was born on December 6th, 1848 in North Carolina.1 Samantha Ann's father was Joseph Harris Tutor and her mother was Julia Ann Sexton. Her paternal grandparents were William Owen Tutor and Lucinda Senter; her maternal grandparents are John Sexton and Lucinda Utley. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Abel G., John Wiley, Joseph William, Samuel Adjoy, Louise, Lucy Brantley, Julia Ida and Febbie Etta. She was the oldest of the nine children. She died at the age of 67 on February 17th, 1916 in McLennan Co., Texas.1 General Notes
