John Wiley Tutor 
John Wiley was born on July 23rd, 1853 in Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 John Wiley's father was Joseph Harris Tutor and his mother was Julia Ann Sexton. His paternal grandparents were William Owen Tutor and Lucinda Senter; his maternal grandparents are John Sexton and Lucinda Utley. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Abel G., Joseph William, Samuel Adjoy, Samantha Ann, Louise, Lucy Brantley, Julia Ida and Febbie Etta. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 81 on March 22nd, 1935 in Toccopola, Pontotoc Co., Mississippi.1 General Notes
