Henwell L. Tutor 
Henwell L. was born on June 16th, 1844 in Cumberland Co., North Carolina.1 Henwell L.'s father was John Henry Tutor and his mother was Martha Patsy Betts. His paternal grandparents were William Owen Tutor and Lucinda Senter; his maternal grandparents are William Betts and Lucy Savage. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Owen, Allen Henderson, James Hendon, Hartwell Betts, William Henry, Temperance, Mary Ann and Martha Ann. He died at the age of 86 on March 1st, 1931 in Bell Co., Texas. He was buried in Flint Creek Cem., Coryell Co., Texas.1 1 General Notes
