Alfred Tubbs 
Alfred was born on May 14th, 1913 in Amarillo , Potter Co., Texas.1 Alfred's father was Leon Ernest Tubbs and his mother was Nancy Cornelia Johnston. His paternal grandparents are William Tubbs and Caroline Bluff; his maternal grandparents were James Woodall Johnston and Sarah Sophia Harry. He had ten brothers and four sisters, named George Thomas, Albert Jennings, Homer Henry, Omer, Leon Ollie, Lee Ernest, Walter Edward, Arthur Chester, Clyde Erwin, James William, Mamie Ethel, Thelma Elizabeth, Hazel and Beulah May. He was the fifth youngest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 5 on April 27th, 1919 in Memphis, Texas.1 General Notes
