Ludie Beatrice was born on July 13th, 1908 in Buffalo, LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 Ludie Beatrice's father was Thomas Jefferson Thompson and her mother was Elizabeth Jane Salsman. Her maternal grandparents were George William Salsman and Nancy Ann Jones. She had a brother and two sisters, named George Robert, Elinore Venita and Leona Mae.
