Page Stanley, Jacob Stanley's third son emigrated with his brother Re
ub en Stanley to Campbell County, Tennessee. He there married Winnie Bas
ha m, daughter of Jonathan Basham. Page Stanley served under Andrew Jac
ks on in the War of 1812. He moved with his family to Putnam County, Ind
ia na and afterwards with the entire family emigrated and settled in Buff
al o, Dallas County, Missouri.
Page had six sons, William, Horace, Nathan, Archie, John and Henry
:; al so three daughters, Mary (Polly), Nancy, and Elizabeth. He serv
ed in the W ar of 1812 in the fifth East Tennessee Militia and came to Dal
las Count y, Missouri from Indiana in 1839. In 1822, Page Stanley was a ta
xpay er in Fishing River, Clay County, Missouri. His birth informati
on is fr om the Randleman Family History Book, page 597. In 1813 Page Stan
ley and h is brother Reuben were living in Powell Valley, Campbell Count
y, Tenness ee and they were two of the 249 people who signed a petiti
on to have the c ounty seat moved closer to them. He is buried with his wi
fe at Buffalo Ci ty Cemetery in Buffalo, Missouri. Information from Dani
