Sarah Isabel was born in 1847 in Vermilion Co., Illinois.1 Sarah Isabel's father was Enoch N. Snider and her mother was Martha Jane Osborn. Her paternal grandparents were John Snider and Prudence Unknown. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas R., John Charles, James W., Nancy M., Rebecca C. and Martha A.. She was the oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named William E., Mary Jane and Elizabeth Ellen. She died at the age of 17 on September 30th, 1864 in Vermilion Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
