Melvina Snider 
Melvina was born in 1833 in Muskingum Co., Ohio.1 Melvina's father was David Snider and her mother was Sarah Mary Tipton. Her paternal grandparents were Moses Snider and Elizabeth Little. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John L., Isaac, William, Bowman, David, Mary and Hannah. She was the third oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 62 on October 17th, 1895 in Mound City, LinnCo., Kansas. She was buried in Prescott Cemetery.1 1 General Notes
