John Smalley 
John was born on August 25th, 1726 in Truro, Massachusetts.1 John's father was Joseph Smalley and his mother was Mercy Young. His paternal grandparents were Francis Jr. Smalley and Elizabeth Hicks; his maternal grandparents are Nathaniel Younga and Mercy Davis. He had a brother and four sisters, named Joshua, Priscilla, Mercy, Hannah and Hannah. He was the third youngest of the six children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Joseph and Jane. He died at the age of 79 on February 19th, 1806. He was buried in Old North Cemetery , Truro, Massachusetts.1 1 General Notes

John and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on November 7th, 1749.1 They had five sons and six daughters, named Joseph, John, John, Joshua, Nathaniel, Sarah, Mary, Lucia, Priscilla, Betty and Hannah.

Sarah was born on November 15th, 1753.1 She died at the age of 84 on February 28th, 1838.1
