William Henry Skaggs 
William Henry was born on August 10th, 1855 in Taylor Co., Kentucky.1 William Henry's father is Moses Riley Skaggs and his mother is Mary Pierce. His paternal grandparents were Solomon Skaggs and Martha Prather. He had two brothers and four sisters, named James Riley, Joseph Barbee, Lucy E., Nancy Ann, Mariah P. and Mary L.. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died at 1 months old on October 3rd, 1855 in Taylor Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Zion Cemetery, Taylor Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
