Stephen Skaggs 
Stephen was born in 1790 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Stephen's father was James Skaggs and his mother is Nancy Mayse. His paternal grandfather was James Skaggs and his paternal grandmother is Mary Unknown. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Henry, James,4th, Matthew, William, John Blackhawk, Moses Madison, Nancy, Lydia and Sarah. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 65 on October 27th, 1855 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
