Martin Buren was born in 1788 in Montgomery Co., Virginia.1 Martin Buren's father was Henry Skaggs and his mother was Nancy Davis. His paternal grandparents are Aaron Skaggs and UNKNOWN Unknown. He had four brothers and two sisters, named James Lindsey, William, Aaron, Henry,Jr., Nancy and Rebecca. He died at the age of 82 in 1870 in Grayson Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
