Hannah was born in 1835 in Green Co., Kentucky.1 Hannah's father was George Skaggs and her mother was Anne Priest. Her paternal grandfather was James Skaggs and her paternal grandmother is Hannah Holbrook. She had three brothers and six sisters, named John, George W., Thomas B., Lucinda, Elizabeth, Mary, Theresa, Amanda and Clarisa. She died in Kentucky. She was buried in Mount Sherman Cemetery, LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
