Benjamin Nicholas was born in July 1882 in Johnson Co., Arkanssas.1 Benjamin Nicholas' father was Sidney L. Skaggs and his mother was Rebecca Eveline Warren. His paternal grandfather was William Perry Skaggs and his paternal grandmother is Lucinda Johnson; his maternal grandparents were William Marion,Rev. Warren and Narcissa Cribbins. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Brigham Young, Willis G., Mary E., Narcissus A. and Lula E.. He is the second youngest of the six children.
