Cornelius Singleton 
Cornelius was born on February 22nd, 1892 in Clear Creek, Perry Co., Kentucky.1 Cornelius' father was Samuel Singleton and his mother was Kizzie Ritchie. His maternal grandparents were William Ritchie and Rebecca Smith. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, Linville and Bertha. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 71 in May 1963 in Hazard, Perry Co., Kentucky. He was buried in Singleton Cemetery, Clear Creek, Knott Co., Kentucky.1 1 General Notes
