Mary and Charles were born at or near Bursey in the County of York in En
gl and. They were married in England July 26, 1803, and immigrated to Ca
na da in 1818. The family arrived in Montreal - travelled on to Kingst
on a nd then entered New York State to visit with some of Mary's relative
s. Fr om here they travelled on to their distination - Lot 231, North Tal
bot Roa d, Mersea Township, near Amhurstberg, Upper Canada. Twelve childr
en we re born from this union.
‌Mary and Charles were married in a religious ceremony on July 26th, 1803 in Eastrington, Yorkshire, England.1 They had seven sons and five daughters, named Thomas, Charles, Abram, Isaac, James, Edward, William, Rebecca, Jane, Ann, Mary and Hannah.

Rebecca was born on February 12th, 1804 in South Cave.1 She died at the age of 83 in June 1887.1

Jane was born on November 8th, 1805.1 She died at the age of 75 on October 31st, 1881.1

Thomas was born on July 1st, 1811 in Yorkshire, England.1 He died at the age of 85 on June 28th, 1897 in Northumberland, England.1

Abram was born on December 8th, 1816.1 He died at 1 months old on January 9th, 1817.1

Isaac was born on December 8th, 1816.1 He died at 4 months old on May 5th, 1817 in South Cave.1
Edward Hairsine
Edward was born on September 13th, 1823.1 He died at the age of 83 on January 22nd, 1907.1
