Hobart McKinley Salsman 
Hobart McKinley was born on February 21st, 1897 in Buffalo, LaRue Co., Kentucky.1 Hobart McKinley's father was William Jackson Salsman and his mother was Julia Ann Bell. His paternal grandparents were Charles Salsman and Sarah Lee; his maternal grandparents are James Jefferson Bell and Celia Skaggs. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Vanderbilt B., Bernt Solomon, Walter Andy, Stella Belle, Sarah Irma and Celia Marie. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 75 on December 14th, 1972 in Ottawa, LaSalle Co., Illinois.1 General Notes
