William Ritchie 
William was born in April 1893 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 William's father was Gabriel Ritchie and his mother was Cynthia Owens. His paternal grandfather was Benjamin Ritchie and his paternal grandmother is Rose Ann Combs. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Larence, Troy, Rosanna R. and Bessie Lula. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 64 on November 17th, 1957 in Perry Co., Kentucky.1 General Notes
