Martin Washburn Ritchie

Martin Washburn was born on June 11th, 1829 in Perry Co., Kentucky.¹ Martin Washburn's father was James Monroe Ritchie and his mother is Hannah Fugate. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Crockett Ritchie and Elizabeth Susan Grigsby. He had nine brothers and five sisters, named Francis, Gabriel, Alexander Crockett, Andrew, Samuel, Zackariah, John, James Crockett, Joshua, Elizabeth, Tabitha, Hannah, Mahalah and Martha. He is the second oldest of the fifteen children.
