Marcus F. was born on April 21st, 1914 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 Marcus F.'s father was Hiram Ritchie and his mother was Arminda Francis. His paternal grandparents were Gabriel Ritchie and Mary Fugate; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Francis and Heney Fugate. He had four brothers and a sister, named Willard, Otis, Abel, Curmen and Luna. He had a half-sister named Tena. He died at the age of 68 on November 9th, 1982.1 General Notes
