Elbert Ritchie 
Elbert was born on May 9th, 1898 in Knott Co., Kentucky.1 Elbert's father was William Ritchie and his mother was Katherine Owens. His paternal grandfather was Benjamin Ritchie and his paternal grandmother is Rose Ann Combs. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Jayson, Alonzo, James Irvin, Isaac B., Rachel and Norma. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 73 in January 1972 in Hazard, Perry, Kentucky, United States of America.1 General Notes
