Bertha Rea 
Bertha was born about April 1897 in Texas.1 Bertha's father was William Thomas Rea (Ray) and his mother was Sallie Jane Young. His paternal grandparents were Thomas S. Rea (Ray) and Mary Adeline (Sarah) Ridings; his maternal grandparents were Isaac Green Young and Margaret Lucinda Turner. He had ten brothers named Flora B., Lou Jean (Jennie), Jasper Bradford, Thomas Jefferson, J. Leonard, Arthur, Howard, Mollie, Evy M. and Beatrice. He was the youngest of the eleven children.
