Howard Knox Ramey 
Howard Knox was born in 1897 in Mississippi.1 Howard Knox's father was John Allen Ramey and his mother was Florence Elma Knox. His paternal grandparents were Beckman Samuel Ramey and Cathron Catherine Keahey. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Marion Clay, Henry Austin, Kathryn Ruth and Florence Elma. He was the oldest of the five children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named John Burrow and Elizabeth Sharp. He died at the age of 46 in 1943 in South Pacific. He was buried in 1943 in Marker at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, Texas.1 1 General Notes
