Herbert Elmer Ramey 
Herbert Elmer was born on August 5th, 1908.1 Herbert Elmer's father was Charles William Ramey and his mother was Annie Eugenia Elkins. His paternal grandparents were Beckman Samuel Ramey and Cathron Catherine Keahey. He had five brothers and two sisters, named William Ernest, Beck Roy, Otis Maxwell, Charles Wesley, Eugene Austin, Myrtle Mae and Ruby. He was the youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 65 in December 1973 in Waynesboro, Wayne, Mississippi.1 General Notes
