Elizabeth Purcell 
Elizabeth was born on September 24th, 1801 in Kentucky.1 Elizabeth's father was Samuel Purcell and her mother was Ann Brewer. Her maternal grandfather was George Brewer and her maternal grandmother is Mary Unknown. She had six brothers and a sister, named Samuel J., Benjamin S., Daniel, Elihu, Joel, Moses O. and Mary. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 62 on September 20th, 1864 in Newburg, Pike Co., Illinios. She was buried in Detroit, Pike Co., Illinois, Blue River.1 1 General Notes
