Homer Ernest Polk 
Homer Ernest was born on March 24th, 1882.1 Homer Ernest's father was James Marion Polk and his mother was Margaret E. Basham. His maternal grandparents were John Marion Basham and Margaret Elizabeth Hinds. He had three brothers and eight sisters, named John Marion, Charles Frederick, Archie Dean, Lorene Juli, Norma Laurie, Mary Sophrona, Effie, Alice Elvira, Edna, Etta Irene and Edna Margaret. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 79 on September 28th, 1961.1 General Notes
