James Pendley 
James was born on May 10th, 1807 in GRAYSON COUNTY, KY ?.1 James' father was James Pendley and his mother was Amelia Moness Smith. His maternal grandparents are Solomon Smith and Nancy UNKNOWN. He had eight brothers and two sisters, named Larkin, Austin, Joseph, Solomon, Smith, John Levi, William, Alfred, Lydia Elena and Amelia Matilda. He died at the age of 93 on August 18th, 1900.1 General Notes
