Simeon Payne 
Simeon was born on March 11th, 1822 in Breckinridge Co., Kentucky.1 Simeon's father was Jubal Payne and his mother was Rhoady Basham. His maternal grandparents were William Basham and Sarah Sally Shrewsbury. He had seven brothers and seven sisters, named Dudley H., Richard H., William B., James, Jubal, Jr., Joel, John W., Nancy, Margaret, Agnes, Eliza Jane, Mary D., Sely and Martha. He was the eighth oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 62 on February 23rd, 1885 in Pettis Co., Kentucky.1 -
