Sely Payne 
Sely was born on February 8th, 1829.1 Sely's father was Jubal Payne and her mother was Rhoady Basham. Her maternal grandparents were William Basham and Sarah Sally Shrewsbury. She had eight brothers and six sisters, named Dudley H., Richard H., William B., James, Simeon, Jubal, Jr., Joel, John W., Nancy, Margaret, Agnes, Eliza Jane, Mary D. and Martha. She is the third youngest of the fifteen children.-
